This first semester session will emphasize the following: gaining mastery of the foundational concepts of the course, building your scientific writing skills, gaining strategies for answering multiple choice questions, connecting concepts across units, and interpreting and analyzing data from the labs and from practice questions. The teacher will also offer weekly support with homework, practice tests, and organizing information into meaningful review documents.
Louisa La Farge has been a science teacher for 17 years, most recently having taught Biology, Chemistry and A.P. Biology at Mercy High School. Louisa is a graduate of the University of Michigan and lives in Burlingame. She has two adult children, a Golden Retriever, and is a swimmer with BAC Masters.
