This course is a fantastic way to improve your confidence and skill in close reading, thinking, and writing. Work with your class course content, discuss your ideas, essays, and receive timely feedback throughout. The curriculum offers material directly from the AP Exam: speeches, interesting passages, humorous articles, perspectives from contemporary scientists, heads of state, artists, and inventors. Learn how to evaluate style/rhetoric and develop succinct essay responses. Students will gain experience with the three AP essays and multiple choice format, which prepares them to start their AP class with confidence. *Some high schools allow students to take the AP English Lang or Lit exam without taking the high school course.
